Jack and Zerach

Jack and his buddy, Zerach, got to hang out while mom, dad, and Zeb went to dinner and a movie. They got to eat at the island in the big chairs, practice their gymnastic moves with Mr. Zeb, and play hide-n-seek in Jack's favorite kitchen cabinet.

Big Boy Bed

Arthur converted Jack's crib to a toddler day bed. We decked it out with the quilt and pillow case that grammie Jane made for Jack. Dino-tastic!

Lunch date with uncle Awesome

Uncle George was in town for work taking a big exam so Jack and I met him afterward for lunch at Katz Deli. Half pound warm rueben sandwiches with tons of sour saurekraut... Mmmmm

Visit to Oklahoma

Jack and I went to Bartlesville over Valentine's weekend. We had fun staying with Grandma Brenda and Grandpa George. Grandpa bought Jack a fishing pole and taught him to cast and reel just like the pros. We also had a good time getting to visit Great Grandpa Wolf and Grammie and Papa in Ponca City. We took Jack to Enriques at the Ponca airport for lunch. Jack ate an entire plate sized sopapillas all by himself!

Silly Songs Play Date

Jack's friend, Walter, hosted a super fun play date this week. We had lots of good food, loud and crazy music to dance to... including the hokey pokey, and a parachute!

Jack wanted everyone to know that there's no shame in his game. Fact: big boy underwear and rain boots make a great outfit.

And so it begins.....

We are gearing up for the full blown potty training assault in the Thomason household. Jack has been getting more and more use to his potty seat on the toilet and been more compliant with sitting for longer periods of time. I am hoping that the real “big boy” underwear he picked out at Target yesterday will tip the scales.
