Jack gave Arthur the Father's Day frame he painted at breakfast then we loaded up for the beach. It was our first trip to Surfside this year. Jack's favorite part was providing demolition support for the sandcastles that Arthur built.

Splash pool
We met some friends to play a the splash pad but changed plans when we found out it wasn't working. The kids had tons of fun at the kiddie splash pool instead. Thank god its only 2 feet deep since I didn't have my bathing suit on! Jack liked using the shallow water to crawl on his belly and pretend he was an alligator. Chomp! Chomp!

Master gardener in training
Jack and Grandma worked all morning in the flower beds. They cut back bushes and weeded around the flowers. They even had their own little system... like a well oiled machine. Grandma would trim and hand Jack the cuttings. Jack's job was to put all the cuttings into his dump truck. After it was full they dumped everything into the big trash. Great teamwork.

Roberto and the radical robot room
Grandma and Grandpa re-decorated Jack's room in their house in Oklahoma. They got him a big boy bed complete with robot bedding. There are also lots of cool new art work on the walls including a hand painted robot that Grandpa George worked really hard on for Jack. Jack informed us that he has named the wall painting Roberto.
