Ann loves to play "tea party" in the bath. She spends almost every bath time filling, dumping, and re-filling these cups with her tea pot.

Picnic

We meet some friends at West Ranch to have a picnic and hike in the nature trails. Ann thought it was very fancy to get to drink out of a water bottle. She also loved hunting for rolly polly bugs with the other kids.

Parkers Posse 5K

We joined our friend Parker for It's My Heart's CHD Awareness Walk! On the way home Ann fell asleep under her blankie

Kemah lighthouse

After lunch at the super yummy Neptune Subs in Seabrook the kids and drove across the street to check out the light house on the Kemah waterfront. Not the most scenic place I have been on the Gulf coast but the kids had fun.

Exhibit A, the Light house is a magnet for rolly polly bugs! Jack hunted down about 20 of them.

Ann Carolyn is TWO!

For Ann's 2nd birthday we hosted a painting party. Ann is very much interested in all things that relate to drawing/coloring/painting. We invited a few of her buddies, covered everything in trash bags, and supplied 'em with canvas and temper paint. We also borrowed a bouncy castle from our neighborhood friends and dined on fantastic Dora the Explorer decorated cupcakes.

Also, Ann was very excited that grandma Brenda was able to attend the bash. She flew down for the party from OKlahoma!
