Girls Gone Wild
This weekend was my annual ladies weekend. I got to spend time with two of my oldest and closest friends who I have known since early elementary school. One flew in from Kansas City and the other lives here in Houston. Meanwhile, Jack got to hang with dad all weekend. Jack and Arthur went to a birthday party, played at the park, took a couple bike rides, ransacked the Target toy department, and had party-time lunches at Lenny's Sub Shop consisting of only Cheetos, Hi-C, and cookies. I'm not sure if it was me or Jack that had the wilder weekend. We both look a little worn out!

Bye-bye Bartlesville
Jack played a little in the backyard before leaving for the airport and home to Houston. We had lots of fun in Bartlesville and can't wait to come back for another visit!

What's in my Easter basket (bucket)!!
Jack wasn't sure what this whole Easter basket thing was about. We told him he could check out all the goodies the Easter Bunny left for him but he seemed a little leery so I helped show him what was in the Easter bucket. Jack got crayons, a coloring book, markers, marshmallow bunnies, play-dough, books, and fun striped plastic eggs. Hopefully that was enough to show Jack that this mysterious Easter Bunny is a pretty good fella.

Grandparent time
While in Oklahoma we've been getting a lot of grandparent time in. Jack and I are staying with Grandma Brenda and Grandpa George in Bartlesville. Grammie Jane and Papa who live in Ponca City also came over to hang out with Jack. Grammie and Papa brought Jack a fun, stuffed animal monkey. He's blue so we named him Easter Monkey and he makes a crazy monkey screech. Grandma Brenda and Grandpa George got Jack some cool croc clogs. They will come in handy at the Pearland splash park. Jack likes to have everyone read him books, and play outside. He also really likes to feed Grandpa George cheerios out of his snack cup.
Egg colorin' fool!
Jack really liked coloring eggs this year. After careful instruction he was dipping and rolling eggs like a pro. He was quite speedy and colored all his eggs in 5 minutes flat! Unfortunately he also colored his hands, forehead, and eyes in the process.
