Flower bed

We worked really hard this weekend getting the front yard flower beds ready for summer. Arthur and I dug up a couple holly bushes to give the bed a little more breathing room. When our house was originally landscaped there must have been a clearance sale on freakin' holly bushes. They planted them everywhere! I found a really pretty climbing vine for the front bed. Its a purple trumpet vine. It is suppose to LOVE full sun. So far not much has been able to survive on the right side of our front flower bed because there is absolutely no shade in that area. Trumpet vines are usually pretty hardy plants.... we'll see. Also, I am pleased with the elephant ear bulbs I planted a couple months ago. They are filling in nicely.
