Bartlesville Public Library's Storytime

Bartlesville's public library offers a kids summer reading program so Grandma Brenda and I took Jack to the Children's Storytime. They had a neat reading room for the kids with big carpeted steps. The story time was structured a lot like Book Babies in Clear Lake. The librarian read from books that Jack was familiar with like the Spot series and lead us in a lots of fun songs. I like that she chose books with fun pictures and not too wordy. Those keep Jack's attention much better.

Not so well known fact: my first ever "boyfriend" moved from Connecticut to Bartlesville, OK when we moved from Conn. to Edmond.
