Mother Goose Time

The Fort Bend County library has a branch near us at Missouri City. They offer parent/infant activity time called Mother Goose Time. It is every Tues. at 11am. We have been a couple times this summer but got to go as a group with the Pearland Itty Bitty group. Jack was really into the bubbles! He ate quite a few.
The theme of this meeting was "tickles" and we got to sing lots of songs that had to do with tickling. Since Jack is really ticklish it was pretty easy to get him to laugh.

Crazy Bubble Head

Jack had a little congestion so we tried a bubble bath I bought that has eucalyptus added to help clear the sinuses. It was Jack's first experience with bubbles and he seemed to think they were pretty ok until they got into his eyes and on his face. He had a good time trying to slap them in the water. I had the genius idea to add a little extra eucalyptus oil into his bath water and then the whole family had their sinus cavities cleared!

Surfside Beach

Jack did great at the beach. It was his first time in the Gulf. He liked to watch all the birds flying around looking for food and loved bobbing up and down in the water on his floaty. He got a couple shots of salt water in the face and didn't even cry! He also got to wear his big boy bathing suit without a diaper... living on the edge.

Kaden's First Birthday Party

Jack got to "party down" at Kaden's birthday party this weekend. He even got to ride his floaty over a waterfall! All the excitement wore Jack out and he took at nap in Kaden's parents bedroom. We made a cool blanket bed for him on the floor.

Important Interview

Jack took some time out of his playtime for a quick interview today.

Time to Relax.

Our friends had us over for dinner and Jack got to check out their indoor hammock. He thought it was pretty cool. He also thought their dog, Norman, was fun too. Norman and Jack shared toys and licks.
